LLC Converter with External inductor and "slightly" integrated transformer

Hello,

The following document gives a way of calculating component values for an LLC resonant converter with

1....A fully coupled (K=1) transformer and an external series "leakage" inductor
2....A fully integrated transformer (eg wound on a split bobbin)


My LLC converter is half way between these two...........in other words i have both an external "leakage" inductor and a slightly high "internal" leakage inductance.........my internal leakage is not very high because i am not having a split bobbin, but just a single layer of primary turns and a single layer of secondary turns with mains grade insulation tape between them.

So how do i calculate the Values of W0 and Wp?

I have had a few goes in excel and simulated it and i am always at least 5 volts below the required output voltage of 80V.......so i am doing something wrong.

I still calculate an Mv" value as in the AN 4151...but dont use the external leakage in its calculation.

(Basically , i have done it like this as i dont want the expense of a split bobbin)
