Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the choice of wiring material for a push-pull converter . Specifically, I'm curious about the impact on leakage inductance when using litz wire versus foil copper in the transformer.

Could anyone shed some light on whether litz wire or foil copper is more effective in reducing leakage inductance in this context?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Best regards,

I dont think it matters, its more to do with interleaving the windings.
You can get equations which quantifity the leakage and they dont involve "litz vs foil"
