I am Looking for some design for a TOY-grade listening device for kids use.

Any idea, folks ?

A sensitive microphone with pre-amplifier should do the job. Keep the mic at the end of a small tube or something a direct it to the speaker.

It will be good to add an AGC loop as well... in case a loud noise comes in.. it can protect your ears!
