linux installation

hi i want to install linux on my pc. what are the requirements tell me plz

linux installation

Empty space on hard disc and a bootable disc of Linux.

You can also work without installing using live CD also.

First install windows and then linux, because its simpler way.

Re: linux installation

For testing linux you can use a live CD.

If you want to install linux, first you have to choose a distribution and get an installation CD of your selected distribution.

Secondly you need enough free space on your hard disk.

That’s all. Then boot from the CD and install linux.

If you want windows and linux on the same machine it is better to install windows and then linux. If you have already windows installed it is a good idea to make a backup of your data before installing linux.

I agree with flanello, using live cd is best way to findout whether distribution you have chosen will work on your computer.
