Line Follower Using PIC16F877

Guys, anybody out there who can share some ideas as to what sensor is good for a Line Follower? What comparator circuit is also used for the sensor? This is our project to be submitted within 2 weeks. I need help from you guys.

Sir, wat kind of sensor will I need so that I can detect the line and also so that i can detect a curve or a turn, further along the way? Is the CNY70 optical sensor capable of this?

you can use IR sensor for less cost . but if you want accurate then you go for inductive type proximity sensor.
