Hi,
Is there any limit how many chip selects an SPI module in a microcontroller supports if i use GPIOs for chip select pins?

The limit is the number of GPIO pins you can use - that which you have available or by increasing count by using shift register, port expander, etc. Just don't place the devices too far away.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Hello!
Just don't place the devices too far away

Would be good to explain what you mean by too far away.
Is it 20 cm? 1m? 100 m? 1km?

Dora.
