Hi,

I am trying to synthesize a CPU GPU design with technology less than 65nm. I wanted to know what corner should be used for such kind of designs.

Thank You

lots of corners. check the foundry documentation. you probably have some lots of corners: setup ones, hold ones, process variation, temperature, etc.

What is the usual corner used for timing and area optimization?

for a real chip... several. if you just want to play around you can use typical typical for setup and hold and that's it.
