[PIC] LED Cube 3x3x3 Questions

I have found this project on Instructible https://www.instructables.com/id/3x3x3-LED-Cube/#step1
And down to the commets i have found a schematic with the Microcontroler i MUST use !!

Moreover i found this video explaining how to construct the LED Cube

And to Program my PIC16F84A i MUST construct this ICSP

Here is the deal, i have a school project to make something i want or something i will be assigned of...
Since i would really loved to make a LED Cube i will propose to make this !!
The thing is they WON'T HELP US AT ALL :!:
So i really need to know if this mix of stuff i have here will it work or will it be a total waste of time and money ???


P.S We aren't allowed to make PCB , we have to use schematics :evil:

In first image cathodes of each layer should be connected to its corresponding transistor's collector and emitter should be grounded.
