Hi,
I would like to learn how to build a complete system of an electronic device (such as mp3 player, ...) as a hobby.

Where should I start? I am willing to spend some $$ to buy the component or chips.

I have experience with the rtl-coding/fpga/dsp/eda-flow/tapeout-flow now at chip level. But I have no experience in the complete system design.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff
