lcd program using pic including an adc program for the same

hello friends i need ur help in lcd interfacing
i need a basic code (which could be tested in mplab ide) to simply display what we type in a 16x2 lcd
i was thinkin of using pic16f877 but any suggestions r most welcome....!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my actual project would be requiring the adc program also

actually i m kind of new to this stuff n i m using mplab 8.56 so wud der be issues if i try it on da same????

There will be Hi Tech C lite mode compiler along with MPLAB installation .... I think so...

You can compile it using that,,,,

i also need a program for PIC16F877 µC to convert a 60-800mA analog signal
can i get help in that???
