If there are critical signal lines running across both Vdd and Gnd (if they are bound to cross), what are the methods used to decrease the noise coupling of the signal lines?

Try to seperate as far as possible the physical height between the power line and sensitive lines, eg. power line use metal 2 while sensitive signal path use metal 5 (highest metal layer).

for these sort of signal when you are crossing VDD of GND use a metal layer with difference 2...for example if GND or VDD is on metal 1 use metal 3 for critical signal.......and if you can manage these signals such that it crosses only GND then its good....

Hi,

Seperation by distance is best. When you must cross don't run in parallel. Cross at right angles when ever possible.

good luck
