Does any one know, in laser triangulation method when the light reflected from object is fall onto the CCD, then how can we retrieve digital information from it.?

Distance Triangulation uses also line imager like the iC-LF1402 ( http://www.ichaus.biz/product/iC-LFL1402 ). The readout of this, as well as CCDs, is a serial clocking of the data image by the microcontroller. For simpler distance measurements there are special optical triangulation chips like the iC-LO (http://www.ichaus.biz/product/iC-LO or look at **broken link removed**).

Enjoy your design work!

I have to use Laser triangulation for surface inspection. So reflected laser light from object is received in CCD. I have to convert this received digital data into angle w.r.t CCD axis. So is there any mathematical calculation to convert this digital information into angle or any logic.?
