I want to connect Labview ver 8.5 to serial port,Can someone help me? any example andy pdf?

I write a program and have this error,what is the problem ,I can not find it.
error is attached.

If I need a driver for RS232 port ,where can I download it?

Hi,

I'm guessing that there's a problem with your VISA installation. It's probably nothing you're actually doing wrong in LabVIEW itself.

Hi !
It's possible that you didn't intalled the right drivers.
check if you've installed the right drivers (version 8.5): put the installation CD and choose customized installation, then you will choose to install the drivers only (box checking). Hope it helps!
