l&t single phase meter interfacing with ethernet

hi everyone,
i am doing my final year project with l&t single phase meter EM101+. i need to know how to get readings from the board with rs32 or by any other methods.

Re: l&t single phase meter interfacing with ethernet

Hi Michael,

You can get read the meter data either via RS232 (connected to your MCU) or Opticallly connected to the meter on one side and RS232 on other side.

Even though you have the cable and other hardware accessories to connect to the meter, you should be aware of the "METER PROTOCOL" or "METER COMMANDS" to read the various parameters.

And i doubt whether you will get the meter commands in open and also lnt doesnt give their commands to all.

Thank you..
