Hi all. welll i have a circuit which is about a traffic light control system.

i would like to know if theres a way other than experiment, namely having recourse to simulation so as to know that the red LED is ON, then it turn offs allowing the green one to be on.. ?????? :?:

The tool I am familiar with is Multisim. It would handle your traffic light control circuit very nicely. Also, it will show the states of your led's on, off, blinking, etc.
Not to mention you have virtual O scopes, function generators, and meters, so you can see what is happening with circuit. Multisim has a pretty nice library and is fairly easy to use so you should be up and running with little effort.

Regards,
Eda
