I am a beginner. I am design an high-speed AD converter project.
I need a 8MHZ clock and then divide it to 4MHz.
Introduce some methods or some clock chips.

thanks a lot.

I suggest an 8.000 MHz crystal oscillator, and a 74HC74 D-flip-flop wired up as a divide-by-two.
Both are common inexpensive parts from an electronic parts supplier. Good luck!
