keypad and lcd on the same port

can anyone help with implementing keypad and lcd on the same port and also using a keypad on just four pins of pic micro. proton basic most preffered. but if not. lease give good explanation

Please give some more details explanation about your project.
We cant use same port for LCD and Keypad.

You can maximum connect 4 Key (4 lines) 2x2 matrix

If you are a newbee the software will be a bit complicated task but it can be done
