Intel Mobile Communications (IMC), an INTEL subsidiary company in Egypt, announces its need to hire engineers in the following position:

Design Application Engineer (Ref: DAE-02)
Job Description
Design Support & Methodologies related to the assigned divisions and business lines
· Find solutions for any technical issues within complete chip development process (1st level support).
· Proactively consult projects to ensure proper and efficient usage of design system + standard libraries for chip product development Collect product specific requirements and trigger required design system enhancement to ensure on-time availability of a efficient chip development environment
· Identify gaps in chip product development. Ensure availability + usage of up to date chip development methodologies
· Support proactively the roll out of new methodologies
· Transfer knowledge based on lead product development (regarding flow usage) also to other sites of same division
· Improve overall design system (e.g. requirement collections / pilot projects) based on deficiencies seen within running chip development projects. Trigger appropriate activities at responsible Center of Competences
· Pro-active knowledge sharing within (world wide ‘DAE community’)
Central interface between chip development community and IT
Collect IT requirements within chip development community and drive proper / on-time provision of solutions together with IT
Track major activities and drive / escalate when required

Qualifications
· University degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Work experience at 0-3 years
· Unix/Linux knowledge required.
· Shell scripting (TCL, PERL) highly desired.
· Cadence Design Systems flow highly desired
· Programming skills desired
· Unix skills required
· Knowledge in technical support desired
· Solid knowledge on overall chip development (from specification to GDS) desired
