Hi,

I am trying to attach a copper area to my ground plane using VIAs. I lay several vias out and make sure their net is set to GND as well. I get a few down and they are all attached to the GND net then for some reason, my layout window minimizes and all the vias I had placed are no longer attached to any net. I can't seem to re attach the vias to the GND plane. Anyone else run into this issue?

Please help me..

hi,
delete the ground shape or copper area as well as vias. Now try it below method.
choose icon shape--->polygon or rectangle then select the net as ground now draw the shape in your require area after complete.place via in copper area location
