Is this bourns pot linear type ??

I would like to know if this bourns 100K trim pot is linear or log type?

The catalogue does not mention this, also in the mouser site the linear option gets disabled when this part is selected. The material is carbon type, SMD package.

Are carbon type pots always linear ?? or can they be log type as well ???

Not all carbon pots are linear, but most called 'trimpots' are.

Carbon pots may have nonlinear characteristics, but I have never seen a nonlinear trim pot.
