how long we can make electronic components with resources on earth
because expect silica most of them are not abundant and not renewable.

I don´t think avaliability of silicon will be a problem.

The past history of technology, shows that humanity everytime discover some solution to solve the problem.
Regarding chemical element usage in electronic components, there are some studies to use polymer, instead silicon :

but not including silica.
silica is not a big problem because it is abutment in nature.
but what about gold, titanium etc more i read that more then 20 rare elements are using in electronics.

Rare earth materials are 17 metallic elements, all of which have similar properties, as they reside in the same families within the periodic table of elements. The elements are: lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, scandium, and yttrium.

The rapid depletion of these materials becomes alarmingly more critical, since China controls most of the materials. More significantly, some reports have stated that China has been decreasing their REM exports and will completely stop them in 2012. (If you believe that the world will end in 2012, I am sure this news rings a very loud and alarming bell.)

You forgot to mention Lithium, vastly used at electronic Industry.
The major deposits on the World of that element are concentrated in Bolivia.

Their government doesn´t accept international partnership to explorate that reserves, and they want to do by theiselves.
However, spetialists says that when it occurs, the Lithium will be came obsolete, due to new matherials being developed.

Every time the humanity can solve their problems.

is it true I will be very happy thank you very much for your response. let the thread continued. need more replays.

Resources are not found in Nature. They are created. It is the human mind that creates a resource out of natural objects or social circumstances when it discovers a value for them.

1. Sand is sand. It is the human mind that first thinks of using it to make bricks, then glass and eventually into silicon chips and fiber optic cabling.
2. Petroleum is decayed organic matter. It is the human mind that discovers it can be burned in an oil lamp, refined into fuel for an engine or transformed into cloth, chemicals and life-saving drugs.

Thus, there is no inherent limit to the potential productivity of resources other than that which is imposed by the limits of our vision and imagination.
