is there any testing method to check for DS1307???

I want to know , is there any testing method available to check whether RTC DS1307 chip is working fine??

pls send minimul circuit requirement and what should be the final output one should get.

and how SQW pin works??

the only method is connect it to a circuit. please chcek the data sheet at www. maxim-ic.com
