Crystal

Hi,

I need a crystal urgently but I bought the wrong frequaency. I have to use 8MHz crystal. Is there an alternative way besides using crystal? I am using Atmel 8515.

Re: Crystal

If stability of this 8MHz frequency is not required you can build external CMOS or TTL RC generator and feed this signal to your micro, otherwise cheapest option is to get new 8MHz crystal...
