IP address

is it possible to IP addresses finished

Re: IP address

are u asking about the inavailability of IP address after some time?
in IPV4 there is a possibility. si IPV6 is also introduced.
but due to subnetting, the addresses in IPV4 are still not expired.
but conceptually, it is possible.

Re: IP address

yes. it is IPV6. where we will be using 16 octets, instead of 4 octets used in IPV4
for more information visit www.ipv6.org
and h**p://www.viagenie.qc.ca/en/ipv6forum.pdf#search=%22ipv6%2Bpdf%22

Re: IP address

Take this introduction to IP from cisco it's quite simple and complete

Re: IP address

with IPV6 it will be possible to have as many ip adreseses so as to accomodate an ip device on every square metre of earth . so no question of them running out

Re: IP address

Look at the IANA website for more information

Re: IP address

However, since IPv4 is being employed in networks today, IPv6 packets have to be tunnelled in IPv4 packets.
