Is there a company that delivers DDR SDRAM samples ?

Is there any company at all which delivers DDR SDRAM samples???

Tried contacting several of those but they only deliver to PC OEM customers...no chance of using them in own design if quantity is between 100 - 1000 a year...

No answer from Samsung (or distributor) and no sampling from Micron...

And no suitable DDR SDRAM from Toshiba...only BGA package XDR...whatever that is...

I guess those are all manufacturers now ...

Well..; I found some manufacter that provide DRAM componant...

Because I worked in a telecom company, I focused on LPSDRAM...

here was my research (6 months ago) :

You should contact the distibutors that are franchised to sell those specific lines. Now you will need to have a real design you are working on and be will to share some information with the disty sales people. They will need this to justify the free samples.

It is difficult to get samples if u r not with OEM. U can try for ur local distributors. If u have to order few more components then u can purchase it online -

You dont have to be an OEM. I do consulting work on the side and I have never had any problems in getting samples I needed.

You have to have a real project and be willing to share some details.

If you dont have a real project then you will have to buy.
