Is that a good idea for a graduation project?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a hot/interesting/creative idea for my graduation project next year: I am thinking about an IDMA-OFDMA rake receiver on FPGA using VHDL.
Is it appropriate?

Certainly seems like a good idea. But you need to have enough time and prior experience in VHDL

I am worrying more about info and references, I think IDMA is an immature topic,isn't it?

for a graduation project, it is mature enough. spend some time on it and see if you'd be able to continue working on it, in time of your submission
