Is sin (n) the periodic signals ?

Not open for further replies.
Sin(n) is not a periodic sigbal.
If x(n) is a periodic signal,x(n)=x(n+T),T must be a real integer.
Now given sin(n)=sin(n+T),hence T=2*pi,is not a real integer,so sin(n) is not a periodic signal.

no it's not periodic
for checking periodicity of digital signals
check omega/2/pi it should be in the form of M/N
where M and N are integer.
so in this case omega is 1 hence 1/2/pi doesn't qualify the criteria
