is it possible to turn on Nokia 8250 IrDa connection via SMS??

Dear all,

is it possible to turn on Nokia 8250 IrDa connection by sending AT Command via SMS from other cellphone to it??
if that possible, i'm gonna use it for educational experiment use.
thank you.
 

I am not sure but you can write application in j2me which reads all sms and if sms has keyword to turn on irda i think via j2me it could be possible or symbian api
