Is it possible to move orgin of board graphicaly in allegro?

Hi,
Is it possible to shift the orgin of the board graphically.
like what we do in powerpcb and other eda tools. which have an option to move the datam in GUI mode.

You will have to do it by means of the menus. What needs to be observed is that only X or Y can be moved at the same time. You will have to complete one of the coordinates before attempting to move the other. Once you get the hang of it, it's no big deal.

Zoom to the coordinates you want to move your origin to. Use INFO and select apprpriate item. You will then get it's coords.

Then go to drawing setup and fill in (e.g.) the X location.

Press OK (or whatever was in the menu - I am at home right now).

After beeing done with the first coordinate. Once again open the setup menu and this time move the Y-coordinate.

If you want to have the origin on the board, (inside the o board edge) place a fiducial there and let it be the datum point to which all other components are referenced once you generate the pick-and-place file. Then it will be easy for the manufacturer to calibrate the pick-and-placer.
