is it different between the two level shift circuits?

attached please find two level-shift circuits. but I don't know the different between them.

I would like to know the different, please tell me, thanks very much!
 

Sorry, but I dont see here level-shifter. For me it is a comparator/latch.
The difference is that secound configuration has 2 additional PMOS that makes cascode stage inside positive feedback loop, which should result in faster circuit.
 

In my opinion, the sencond is good to power consumption when the two signal has some delay. that means has some overlap.
 

thanks to all, and yeewong_su, is your means that there is BBM in the second circuit?
