Hello,

Can any of you please tell wether the light scattering that makes the sky blue is a Raman scattering or raleigh scattering , and if both fluroscence and Raman effect have the same effect on the molecules how do they differ form each other ?

thanks.

Re: Raman effect

blue sky is due to rayleigh scattering (S)

S =k*λ^-4 .

but i am not confident about fluroscence scattering
