Is anyone here doing CMOS IMAGE SENSOR(CIS) design?

Is anyone here doing CMOS IMAGE SENSOR(CIS) design or layout? Escpeically pixel design or layout.
I'm do researching on this, I have done a lot of paper reading,but when thing come to design a test chip,I find I'm still a beginner... so Is there any SIMPLE EXAMPLE of the FULL design/layout? A good example makes everything clear to me.

Thanks alot if anyone can give a real CASE STUDY or discuss this topic.

pseriphery circuit placement and route are also needed,like vdd,reset,sigal out wiring,adc,row logic,column readout,etc...
