Hi,

Just wondering whether the general microprocessor such as 8088 and 8086 are Von Neummann based architecture?

And are the microcontrollers such as those PICs are harvard acrhitecture based?

Regards

Hi, you mean the answer is yes to both?

Re: Microprocessor

well, the PIC family of microcontrollers are more modern than 8088 microprocessor, and the PIC's are RISC based chips with another architecture
