orcad shapes clearance

Hi folks. I'm working with OrCAD Layout 9.1 and a component of my design requires me to create a footprint of an irregular shape:

I have read a few tutorials from this site (and from other sites) such as ELEC 424, so plz don't redirect me to those.

1. Should I use the Copper Pour or Copper Area Obstacle for the trace segment that goes out to the AntiSolder area (sprayed with red)?.

2. Can I use the Copper Pour or Copper Area Obstacle PLACED IN THE SolderMaskLayer (SMTOP) for allowing the solder to melt ON the trace segment sprayed with red?.

3. How can I force Layout to attach the traces to the area sprayed in red instead of the area sprayed in blue?.

Thanks a lot for your attention.

Create rectangle padstack to include red area for net connection (you can offset pin location if you need to), use copper areas to create other shapes and attache to pin/part. You will need to create mask clearance and paste shapes manually and attache all to pin/part.
