i want to drive a single mosfet using IR2110.What is the typical connection of IR2110 for driving a single switch?can anyone help me

If the switch has source connected to ground, you would typically use a simple single driver without level shifting (or the IR2110 low side driver, if you prefer). If it's a floating switch, you can use the IR2110 high side driver. But it can only work, if the source is periodically pulled to ground. Most likely, this condition can't be guaranteed with a single switch.
