IR remote control coding

Hello sir
I am using this device (in figure) to sence IR rays from simple T.v. remote control for the purpose to make remote control switches

Now please tell if it is possbile to code the the signals for diffrent buttons like volume etc for a remote control unit by using the same sensor ? or we need some other idea to code in a very simple manner ?

what would the basic block to create in home ?

ye sir i got it but i dnt have cellphone for that , then how to measure about the current which i am using for a load like light decorating item etc ?
