Inverter Charger with Cappacitor / BTA16

Any body know about How will work inverter charger work with mosfet [Ac-Dc].
Please view attached picture. Any body know how much become in 160 tapping [C=5MFD 220V]
and how its converting secondery 12v ac in to DC . [this is commen circiut u can assume / add any thing more]. Can i use BTA16 instead of C

As you say this is a common configuration. However, I've seen this used with a triac (or 2 SCRs) on the primary side for secondary current control instead of just a capacitor. Using a capacitor doesn't let you adjust the current (and puts a lot of stress on the capacitor). So, I recommend you use primary side control with a triac or with SCRs.

The "current limiting" is done by the reactance of the capacitor.

At the secondary, the AC is rectified to DC by the body diode of the MOSFETs.

Can you just draw that circuit with SCR and Triac , i need both examples [which one is best].
in secondry side Maximum how much current can it take for charging [DC] when am using 80nf55 , and is there any relation between this MOSFET current carriying cappasity[80A] .

You can find the maximum current rating of the body diode from the MOSFET datasheet. Be sure to stick to a current much lower than the maximum. Remember that the MOSFET body diode has a very high forward voltage and so power dissipation will be high. So, adequate heat sinking must be provided.

As for SCR and triac, that depends on you. Since power here is low, performance will be similar and so triac can be used without worry, provided the drive is proper.

But Thamid i can see any Details About Body Diode. in picture that thing is there , But not mension its property any where.
Can u simply Draw example for SCR and Triac
