Interfacing SIM900d to 16f877

I am new in sim900d and microcontroller, i cant figure it out how to connect gsm module from 16f877, do i need parallel port or serial and what pins will i use from both sides.

You will use serial port.

There is a hardware design manual for sim900d that describes how and what to do.

You should read it.

Just google the manual.

Usually GSM modems are connected through UART interface.
