interfacing mobiles with microcontrollers

How can i interface a mobile with a microcontroller?If anyone knows this process

Hi

you need to connect your mobile serial port to the micro UART port
then drive your mobile using the AT commands
this is the most general way.
Some mobiles have it's own command and don't use AT commands
so you need to decide what mobile to use 1st

Hi,

There are some converter cables available, which can convert Serial port to USB. You can connect USB side to your Mobile and the other end can be connected to Microcontroller via serial port.

BTW, i think its based on serial communication...
