interfacing mcp3202 with p89v51rd2 (8051)

Hello,
My 8051 board is working at 11.0592MHz(crystal freq). Mcp3202 requires 1.8MHz.
11.0592/4=2.7MHz,can I set it to divide by 4 in the SPI control register.
Otherwise how do I go about it?
