interfacing gsm300 with atmega16

i tried the following code to interface gsm300 with atmega16. but i'm nt getting the response "OK". some one please help!View attachment New Text Document.rar

It might looks like a problem of Hardware rather than software.

Show us you schematic and also check the response of modem on windows hyperterminal.
And you code looks correct.

And the response is not OK
it is
0x0D 0x0A O K 0x0D 0x0A
With out spaces
