dear friends,i want to interface thermal printer to 89s51 using serial port. pls help me to create the schematic and codes. I am new to this thermal printer. thanks in advance.

No problem, if you have a thermal printer with a serial interface.

Cool ... Which kind of Thermal printer do you have ?. ..

with serial port or without Serialport ?. If without Serial port , What kind of interface that thermal printer has ?.

If your Thermal printer has Serial port interface facility .

read the manual of the thermal printer. They will give the AT commands for the interface . Code your Micro controller with that Command list.

You can interface it . Else .. get back here.
