hi,

I need to buy some 2-phase instrumentation stepper motor (to be used for gauge's needle movement)... driven by microstepping.

Anyone knows any supplier/distributor for this?

thanks tamerakshar,

actually i'm a bit confused about microstepping and normal half/full stepping..

another question i posted here:

r u want it for hobby or for making any device, if hobby you can get some from the old damaged printers(its a cheep option).

i will use it for controlling the movement of the needle on the gauge (e.g. speedometer display).
so i think microstepping should be required.

then use a reduction gear along with normal stepper motor?
