installing gvim on solaris

hi,

i am trying to install gvim on solaris but not able to install it.
i downloaded gvim form vim site .
when i type "make install", it says no such command found.

anyone knows suitable method to install gvim on solaris.

Have you checked if Development tools are installed on Solaris?
I guess before doing "make install" you have to run Configure.

So please check.

yes...he is correct..first you need to configure and then "make install"...
