installation of modelsim on linux

modelsim+linux

i have modelsim6 se with all necessary files i also have the floating license but i dont know where to put the licence in need help
 

quick answer is set your env to point to the license file..

LM_LICENSE_FILE=/opt/model/license.dat
export LM_LICENSE_FILE

add that to your .profile/.bash_profile in your home dir.. of course it will change depending on where your license.dat is..
