If the transformer has good coupling, then over a wide range of frequencies the output voltage follows the input voltage times the turns ratio. At very low frequency you may saturate the core, or the transformer's low impedance will bog down your input. At very high frequency a variety of capacitance and loss effects will spoil it's performance.
