Information on FIFOs

Could you tell me some links or upload some papers about FIFOs.
Asyncronous FIFOs, or clock syncronisation FIFOs will do as well.

When you mean FIFOs are you refering to implimentation of FIFOs in software or FIFO chips generally. Try and be more specific. I do have some documents on FIFOs but I'm not sure what u're after. I aquired them when I needed to implement cyclic FIFOs in software

Furthermore, will your implimentation in hardware be using VHDL on PLDs or do you mean design on a microcontroller? Otherwise I'll probably suggest you think about using purpose built fifo chips.

Try www.sunburst-design.com they have good papers and descriptions there that is usual to any hdl designer.
