Plz give me idea about SERDES...and how it is associated with the FPGAs.
How it works???

SERDES = serializer deserializer. It nothing more than a parallel to serial and serial to parallel function.

SERDES is used for high speed serial communication.

Goto Xilinx website and do a serach. There is a ton of info there.
