I want to learn real time operating systems can any one tell me about this ang give guide lines for me to study.and also give me website links

beside that you can check ucos-II by Jean J Labbrosse, this is a ver good book to start with. You can google for that.

salvo RTOS, eCOS RTOS both are free and you will find a release from salvo optimized for PIC families of microcontrollers.

Try my Multitasking system for the Pic 16-bit micro's posted on eda board here:



It is an easy to use, basic rtos sytem.
It includes documentation describing the implementation and full source code.
It uses mplab simulator so you don't need any hardware to run the examples.
It also makes use of mplab logic analyser window so you can see when tasks are running and in what order.
