I want to make an inductor for my little project
on searching the net i find this
Air Core Inductor Coil Inductance Calculator

where diameter, length and number of turns are only parameter

so can i use any kind of wire(copper, soldering, aluminium),
any dependency on u(mu)?

sorry but I think I am really new to practical electronics
is It means
I can use any materials for wire windings
and only the internal property(resistance) is added to it.
so the coil is
inductor with resistance of wire
I also find in textbook there is nothing like ' wire used for coil '

thanks in advance.

you would normally use enamelled copper wire ... its pretty universal for inductor manufacturing. does you project info give you the details for number of turns, diameter, spacing between turns, wire size etc ?

Practically speaking for most small inductors say up to ~ 100 turns or so the resistance of the coil is going to be so small its not going to be measurable. Therefore no effect on the inductor etc.

cheers
Dave
